Sunnie Mortimer

At the start of Sunnie’s career, she was a critical care and cardiac care nurse. She then became certified in Cardiac Rehabilitation, which allowed her to see the benefits of a holistic mind-body approach to health. Sunnie then began her path toward holistic nursing, which shaped her understanding that managing stress is fundamental to health and that mind-body tools help people build resilience and reach their full potential. 

Sunnie is a Holistic Nurse with Board certifications in Holistic Nursing, and Health and Wellness Nurse Coaching. She received a BSN from the University of Delaware and is certified in Holistic Stress Management, HeartMath Biofeedback, Interactive Metronome Brain Training, Focus Guide Imagery, Clinical Hypnotherapy, and Therapeutic Breathing.

She is a Jin Shin Jyutsu Practitioner with Morristown Medical Center Integrative Services and a Jin Shin Jyutsu research team member.
